What are the deadlines for applications?
Funding applications need to be submitted at least two weeks before the below Trustee meeting dates:

Can I apply for funding for a project that has already started?
Yes, you can if it is in line with what the Trust funds.

How much funding can I apply for?
Grants requested must not exceed a total of £15,000. In exceptional circumstances, larger amounts might be considered.

How do you assess applications?
Applications are reviewed by the Trustees twice a year and assessed on need and how closely they align with the objectives of The Dian Plant Charitable Trust.

How long will it take from submitting my application to hearing about the result?
Applicants will be informed of a decision two weeks after the date of the Trustee Board meetings.

What happens if I am successful and receive a grant?
If you are successful, you will be informed two weeks after the decision is made by the Trustees and contacted for additional information.

Are we required to report on the impact of the funding?
Yes, you will be required to write a report detailing the impact of the funding at the end of the project/campaign.

If our funding application is unsuccessful, what is the earliest date/time we can reapply?
If unsuccessful, you can reapply for funding the following year.

No, currently we do not support charities based or working in Northern Ireland.
