About Dian Plant
Dian's early love of horses evolved into a lifelong passion, which she nurtured for over 40 years alongside her husband Gordon at Moor Hall Farm in Aston Nantwich, where they also cared for their Rottweiler dogs. She was an astute businesswoman who effectively balanced her entrepreneurial pursuits with her dedication to animal care.
Dian Plant was a fervent advocate for animal welfare, renowned for her profound compassion and commitment to the well-being of animals. Her dedication extended beyond her own horses, as she ensured their lifelong support. Dian's legacy is characterized by her empathy, sense of responsibility, and unwavering pursuit of a kinder world for animals. Her contributions continue to inspire ongoing efforts in animal rescue, rehabilitation, and welfare advancement today.

Bryan Hallows
Bryan Hallows is one of the three dedicated Trustees of The Dian Plant Animal Charity. A highly experienced veterinary surgeon, Bryan had the privilege of caring for Dian’s horses for many years and developed a close professional and personal association with her.
With a deep understanding of Dian’s wishes for her legacy, Bryan is committed to ensuring that her vision for the Charity is honored. This includes the ongoing care of her surviving horses and the thoughtful distribution of funds to support animal welfare initiatives across various species, ensuring that resources reach those in genuine need.
Bryan’s expertise and long-standing connection to Dian’s mission make him a vital part of the Charity’s leadership, helping to uphold its commitment to compassionate and effective animal care.

Michael - John Parkin
With over 30 years of dedicated service to the Nantwich Agricultural Society, Michael - John has played a key role in organising the annual Nantwich Show. In 2013, he was appointed Chairman and was instrumental in the shows successful re-launch following a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beyond his work with the Society, he is involved in the Nantwich community, serving as Chairman of the Acton Parish Hall Trustees and actively participating as a bellringer at Wrenbury Church for over 40 years, where he also sits on the Parochial Church Council.
Professionally, he has been the Sales Director at Barnett Jones and Cooke, a respected independent insurance brokerage specialising in agricultural insurance, for over 25 years. Prior to this, he worked as a dairy farmer and agricultural contractor, a career that led him to work closely with Dian Plant, forming a strong friendship over 35 years. He is committed to upholding the values and mission of her Charitable Trust, ensuring her legacy continues to support animal welfare.

Nadine Page
Nadine Page is a dedicated Trustee of The Dian Plant Animal Charity, bringing her extensive expertise and deep passion for animal welfare to the organisation. A qualified equine veterinary surgeon, she has worked in Cheshire since 2012 and established her own veterinary practice in 2015.
Nadine had the privilege of getting to know Dian Plant through her work, caring for Dian’s racehorses while they were in training at a local flat racing yard. Their shared commitment to animal welfare fostered a strong connection, inspiring Nadine to continue Dian’s legacy through the charity’s mission.
Beyond equine care, Nadine’s dedication extends across all species. She has been instrumental in setting up a voluntary wildlife service, offering both medical assistance to wildlife in need and support to the general public. Her deep commitment to the protection and well-being of animals makes her an invaluable part of The Dian Plant Charitable Trust
